Saturday Centus #81~We gather together.........

I'm back! And here's my attempt at writing this week's Saturday Centus. We can use three pictures, and the word count is 100 plus the prompt: "We gather together to ask the lord’s blessing"
                                                ~~~~~~~
Jimmy, why don’t you say grace this year.
We gather together to ask the lord’s blessing on this beautiful day.
Lord, please make all the food taste really good and last a long time ‘cause momma said she ain’t cooking no more ‘cause Aunt Christina never brings any food over for Thanksgiving.
Jimmy!
Amen.
What a light write that made me laugh this morning! I needed that, Ames. Hubby sick and I am on race trying to get the usual done. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving right now! Does Florida have anything particularly regional they put on the table for this holiday?
Thanks for making me laugh, Ames. I knew I could count on you for a lighthearted centus. (Not that there's anything wrong with more serious posts, but the holidays stink as it is.)
Blessings to you, my friend.
Very funny. Around here it could be if you don't cook, you'll be doing the dishes!
Thanks for visiting me.
Ha! That's what every Thanksgiving needs - a big helping of honesty. Will be with inlaws this year so I think I'll be having humble pie.
You write a terrific story! I wish I had been in Arizona a bit earlier to meet you too! Jenny and Steve were wonderful driving over to Nick's cross event. I love those two!
I am catching up again today! Overstuffed from the Thanksgiving spread! I need to get outside and walk and run but that howling wind is keeping me toasty inside! Brrrr....it is cold here! They said the 60s. I presume they meant Florida! Hee Hee!
