Rooster Party

Hi all! My bloggy friend Linda,  from her  A La Carte  blog  ( http://ljm-alacarte.blogspot.com/2011/08/rooster-party.html  ) has persuaded me to link up to a Rooster Party over at Shelia's Note Songs ( http://notesongs.blogspot.com/2011/08/hoth-roosters-and-chickens-party.html ) to show off my Roosters.

First off let me say that I have no idea how I ended up with a collection of Roosters.

They seem to get moved around a lot in my house so they are not displayed quite as nice as Shelia's.

Do you collect Roosters or Hens and Chicks?

Show us yours....I've shown you mine :o

P.S. I just realized that I also have Rooster plates and glasses, and a dish soap dispenser.

Thanks for stopping by!~Ames

This was fun! I have some roosters and hens...used to have more. I have friend who had so many roosters you felt flogged in her house! But she has cut them in half...still plenty though! I love yours with the blue tails...near the plates.

the brown rooster lamp, it looks like someone made it into a lamp, they just drilled a hole and inserted a metal rod and got a lamp kit, so i bet you can do it too! id love to see what you come up with.... lisa

I guess you will have to do another post one day on your other chickens. You do have a lot of them to not have intentionally collected them! That is how collections often happen, though.
It was very fun seeing what you showed off today!

How funny!! It's odd how we collect things and don't even realize it. You have a very nice collection.

Oh I enjoyed seeing your collection. And it is often the way that you remember stuff after you've finished the blog post - happens to me - a lot.

What a collection! My favorites are the first pair on the hutch shelf, in front of the dishes...but I liked them all!
