Free To Be Me

Oh say can you see, my family and me, as we joyously celebrate with pride, the freedoms and liberties we have, in this great country where we reside.

Standing here in my bathing suit, my arms and legs bare, I think of women that would be put to death, if they dressed in what I freely wear.

I am privileged to live in America, the home of the brave and land of the free,

Where God is good and God is great and he most certainly loves me, the fat woman in her bathing suit, looking out across the sea.

Don't forget to stop by Jenny Matlock's blog (off on my tangent) you can get there by clicking here:

You are so right, Ames!
I'm with you about counting our blessings!

Thank you for visiting my SC-post!
When I use my fictional characters such as Sanna and her new friend John Tell, I don't even try to work the text into a whole., When I eventually write my novel about Sanna, the story-line could be anything and not necessarily the way she has appeared on my blog.

I know there are several bloggers who write a continuous story and still use the prompts, but I just can't do that. My "Sanna-texts" are only free sketches. I am not sure what a good plot would be for a novel with Sanna.

Best wishes & hugs,

Ames, I never thought of some of these freedoms that I take for granted. What a lovely reminder of what our country stands for.
