Alphabe~Thursday "X" is for "X"-ray

Hi all! This is going to be a tough one for sure. Jenny is ticking off those letters, and she's saved the hardest for last! Ha ha! So you guessed it! This Thursday is about the letter "X". What the heck can you say about the letter "X" ? Well why don't you stop by Jenny's blog (off on my tangent) and see? You can click here to go there. Yes you can get there from here:

but first here's my contribution, though short it may be.....

~~~
“X” is for “X”-ray
In 1895, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen discovered x-rays. Quite by accident.
In 1901 it earned him the Nobel Prize.
I wonder if he envisioned the potential?
X-rays can reveal so many things!
Röntgen's discovery may have been accidental, but it is still used today. That's amazing. Great post, Ames.
There's something wrong with my vision...maybe it needs a bit more negative X's to make out the XRayed Truck! Careful what you carry, huh?
I doubt that Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen understood what his discovery would lead to...and, truth be told, we may not even know. His discovery may lead to something more one day!
Röntgen? I dunno, I think people saw through him.
Where would we be without this amazing discovery - seems like many of the great ones came about by accident!
Whoa, what is happening in that x-ray? I think the whole x-ray technology is pretty neat. It can reveal so many things that are invisible to the human eye. Definitely helped the health profession a lot! Great X post!
There are so many wonderful things discovered by accident. X-rays have saved many lives, but I am more in awe of the little things I use every day which were created by accident...velcro and sticky notes!
That is a such a cool photo ... yet it brings out the claustrophic in me ... thank goodness for accidents!
That last photo is soooo x-traordinary.
Nicks comment totally cracked me up and although I'm really dying to re-use it so you'll think I'm all clever, too, I guess that would be cheating.
Instead I'll just thank you for linking to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "X".
Your posts are always x-citing.
